Dr. Lakhani is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist. He joined Apogee Medical Associates in October 2020. He holds numerous board certifications including Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and RPVI (Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation). He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship from Staten Island University Hospital in New York. Then he underwent an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the very busy and prestigious program of Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, NY.  He achieved numerous awards as resident/fellow of the year during his training. Subsequently, he worked as an Interventional Cardiologist in New York and North Carolina. He was the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in upstate New York. He was an integral part of the cardiology fellowship training program there. He specializes in trans-radial cardiac catheterization, complex coronary interventions, endovascular interventions for peripheral arterial disease, and venous interventions for venous reflux disease. He is accepting new patients.
